Literature Submissions

DEADLINE for the Fall 2010 issue: October 31, 2010

Our mission is to display the art and literature of the Kennesaw State University student body. We accept all forms of literary and artistic mediums, such as short stories, poetry, photography, graphic design, flash fiction, creative nonfiction essays, sculpture, painting, etc. If accepted, you will be published for free and retain all rights to your work. Please abstain from using the form or likeness of copyrighted material.

Please follow the entry format given and state the type of the submission that you are emailing. Also, we ask that you please put the entry format in the body of the email.

Writers: Please read the following bulletins for instructions.

  • Look at the above picture for an example email.
  • Please state that you are submitting a Lit Submission as the subject of the email.
  • All poetry submissions must be under 300 lines. Short stories should be under 3000 words.
  • Both can be as a .doc or .rtf file.
  • Please submit your works in Times New Roman font and INCLUDE A TITLE.
  • Submission emails must include title/type of piece and author’s name, year in school, and contact information (phone number and e-mail address).
  • We do not accept anonymous work.
  • Every submission e-mail must contain entry format below:
